  1. We do a vegetable garden every year. This is a short report nearing harvest time.
    We planted late, probably May-June.
I tried hanging 2 tomatoes and used too small of a bucket. I should have used 5 gallon. The vines were small and always looked like they needed water. I also planted 8 in the ground that never became robust producers.
    Our string beans were productive.
    Zucchinis less productive than usual.
Our corn was a joke. Why did I plant them so close together. Next time at least 8-9 inches apart. Don't try transplanting them.
Bok Choy was planted to early or late. They didn't like the heat.
I always have a problem with bell peppers.
One or two productive and the rest die. Time for new soil in those pots.
